baked scallops with cheesy cauliflower

A succulent dish of seafood in a creamy sauce gratinated with mozzarella cheese that is prepared in just 15 minutes. To cook without delay! you should try to make baked scallops with cheese.


1 cauliflower, cut into small bunches

1/4 cup (60 ml) butter

1 chopped onion

80 ml (1/3 cup) flour

625 ml (2 1/2 cups) milk

2 bags of mixture frozen shrimp and scallops 340 g each (Aquastar type), thawed

45 ml (3 tablespoons) chopped chives

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup (250 mL) grated mozzarella cheese

In a saucepan of boiling salted water, cook the cauliflower for 4 minutes. Refresh under cold water and drain.

In the same saucepan, melt the butter and sear the onion for 1 minute. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute without staining.

Pour the milk and heat until the first quivering while whisking. Add seafood, cauliflower, and chives. Season. Heat over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes.

Preheat the oven to the “broil” position.

In a 33 cm x 23 cm (13 “x 9”) baking dish, pour the mixture and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

Fry in the center of the oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
