At home, we have the routine to take every Friday, except last minute changes, a sandwich. We like it with any variety of bread, but if it is of this type much better.

With this magnificent recipe, we will obtain a bread with a very tender crumb and thin crust subtly crisp, which I consider perfect. If we add that his technique of kneading is very simple and is based on very short kneading and rest, I believe that anyone can be encouraged to do it.

  • Dry yeast bakery 5 g
  • Honey 20 g
  • Baking powder 250 g
  • Flour 250 g
  • Salt 7 g
  • Butter 25 g
  • Extra virgin olive oil 5 ml

Mix in a bowl the milk with yeast and honey. Add the flour and salt and combine until a light and sticky dough forms. Pour the butter over and crush the dough with your hand until it is incorporated. We remove the remains of the hand, put them in the bowl and let the mass repose 10 minutes.

Lightly grease the table with a little oil, knead 10 seconds and form a ball. Wash and dry the bowl, lightly oil, put the dough inside and let it stand 10 minutes. Repeat twice more kneading for 10 seconds, letting it rest between kneaded 10 minutes. In total, we do this operation 3 times leaving the last 30 minutes.

Grease and flour a 30 cm cake mold. Divide the dough into two balls of equal size and place them in the mold. Cover and let stand until they almost double their volume. Preheat the oven to 210° with heat up and down. Brush the bread with a little milk and bake for 15 minutes.

Lower the temperature of the oven to 180º and cook for another 25 minutes or more according to each oven. If it gets too dull and we do not like it, we can cover it with silver paper. Remove a rack from the mold and let it cool completely before consuming it.

What to accompany easy milk bread?

This bread of milk is perfect for both sandwiches, for its tender crumbs, as for toasting, since for the sugar that contains caramelize very well and remains ideal. We have tried it in both cases and it has become one of my favorites because its realization is very simple and the result is spectacular.
